| Description: Move with Awareness. Learn how to honor the body gently with ease and comfort. Learn how not to move like someone else, but to honor the natural body and nature of the self. Learn how to breath and move at the same time, while strengthening, as the mind clears through this intensely meditative yoga. Learn to sense the environment, the sounds, your own movements, with an internal awareness, for what you are doing, while you are doing it. The overall vocabulary is gentle ease, simplicity and clarity with the movements. As the mind meditates with movement, the presence of yourself, becomes clearer, to the feeling sensory being, that lives within, waiting moment to moment to sense itself more fully. Flow into your own awareness to find comfort with the world beyond yourself. The world is there for you as you are there for the world. It is a relationship of trust with self. Yoke! For when we join in union with the self, we melt away the hard layers that have been created relative to our existence and become one with being. Class is built on breathing, moving, sensing and feeling- all at the same time. Honor the "nature body", it's own natural rhythms, organic patterns and sense of being with the natural abilities for that day. Every present moment is different from all other moments. So to honor the moment, we listen to how the body really moves in accordance to the nature of the body, never expecting to move, pose, breathe or have abilities like anyone else. We all respond to every occurrence differently, therefore our bodies all hold different memories and experiences. That causes us to hold still in different ways.
