I earned a Master of Social Work degree at LSU School of Social Welfare in 1983. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Authorized Clinical Supervisor since 1986.
As an LCSW, I currently work in the area of mental health as a clinical supervisor, trainer, and quality assurance coordinator. I work for a Mental Health Rehabilitation agency that provides services to chronically mentally ill adults and children & youth with serious emotional and behavioral disturbance.
As a BACS, I supervise MSW's as they prepare to take their licensing exam. We alternate individual and group supervisory sessions which makes the cost involved in this process more manageable and also brings the power and knowledge of a group to our sessions.
